Art exhibition "Verschiedenes" from May 24 to July 26, 2022
Every day we are confronted with a multitude of impressions. Each person perceives these individually based on their life situation and current condition.
The Monday painters from Biesdorf place great emphasis on promoting creative diversity. In our weekly meetings, we inspire each other and further develop our skills. While painting, we try out different techniques and thus maintain our diversity, even if individual members have certain preferences.
We capture our impressions in images that reflect both the subject and the execution. This sharpens our perception of our surroundings. The drawn or painted impressions often remain deeply rooted within us.
With the exhibition "Verschiedenes," we showcase the diversity of our artistic creations. To this end, we have developed a concept with eight "sub-exhibitions," in which each artist dedicates themselves to their own theme.
Participants in the exhibition include: Monika Bachmann, Heidrun Kaiser, Karin Klaar, Manfred Labud, Karin Marschke, Rainer Meihofer, Renate Stemmler, Manuela (Elfe) Weger, and Diana Achtzig.
The participating artists
-
Monika Bachmann illustrates her travels from her hometown with impressive images of buildings and landscapes.
-
Pollarded willows continually inspire Heidrun Kaiser. The various shapes of these trees in different seasons and lighting situations continuously provide her with new ideas.
-
Karin Klaar loves exploring landscapes and objects with pen and ink. Drawing is an exciting experience for her.
-
Manfred Labud is a talented architectural painter. He combines various techniques to depict complex views of architecture and landscapes.
-
Works inspired by nature are Karin Marschke's specialty. Whether it's a wide view or a sea view, her paintings capture these moments.
-
Rainer Meihofer uses the pencil to capture the subtleties of nature, light, and shadow. His miniatures are testaments to his patience and precision.
-
Renate Stemmler loves challenges. Her work includes both abstract pieces and serene landscapes.
-
Manuela (Elfe) Weger experiments with colors and shapes in her abstract paintings and creates joyful artworks.
-
Diana Achtzig explores as a professional artist complex themes such as humans and animals or interprets art history in her own way.
