The continuing education program of the "Montagsmaler" includes a sustainable and ecological concept for modern painting and drawing at the district center Biesdorf in Berlin.
Under the careful guidance of Andre Zweigert, a place for further education for adults and seniors in the fields of music, art, painting, contemporary art, and ceramics has been created here over many years, as well as computer courses and sports offerings, to promote cultural diversity. After the Corona (time) restrictions, music events, vernissages, lectures, and book readings are once again offered here. At the address Alt-Biesdorf 15 in 12683 Berlin, interested parties can then register again within the framework of available capacities for the time without Corona.
The Monday Painters in Biesdorf
There are two groups in the district center Biesdorf. The Monday and Tuesday painting groups.
In the Biesdorf Monday painting group, for example, watercolors, ink drawings, acrylic paintings, pencil drawings, and oil pastel pictures on paper as well as canvases are creatively created by the modern painters. The shared painting experience is the focus of the regular meetings - always on Mondays - held at the district center.
The uniqueness of this painting group lies in the fact that beginners, advanced, and studied artists of contemporary art come together here to organize their further education collectively. This open painting group particularly promotes further education in contemporary painting and drawing.
The continuing education program of the Montagsmaler from Biesdorf
The modern and creative painting techniques open up new friendships and exciting encounters, such as during the plein-air sessions (outdoor painting) around Berlin, but also at Biesdorf Castle (Alt-Biesdorf 55, 12683 Berlin) and on the Wuhle.
Ecological motifs of forests, trees, and tree-lined avenues are repeatedly captured in color on drawing paper. The special selection of motifs is always encouraged. With these nature motifs, the Biesdorf Monday Painters want to draw attention to the beauty of nature and the importance of climate preservation. In this sense, the group also wants to dedicate itself to the further education of artists.
Remember it!
On Monday, June 14, 2021, the Monday painters from the Biesdorf district center will meet at 2 PM in the Biesdorf Castle Park for Plan Air (open-air painting). Visitors and those interested in art are warmly invited!
