Under the title "Sehenswert," the Degewo Hochhaus Galerie presents the watercolor painter Monika Bachmann in a solo exhibition. This takes place from 07/26/22 to 09/21/22.
Monika Bachmann's artistic perspective
Monika Bachmann sees the world with open eyes. She always checks whether a situation, an object, or a person is "worth seeing" and "worth painting." For Bachmann, there are many noteworthy subjects: a bouquet of flowers, the view from the window, a street scene, or an interesting building.
Accuracy is not the focus of her work. Rather, she wants to capture special moods, moments, as well as light and shadow. Her trained eye allows her to quickly bring these impressions to paper or canvas. Despite her professional activity, she strives for effective and satisfying results. Bachmann prefers to paint on-site, which makes her works spontaneous and immediate.
Her greatest artistic role models are the German and French Impressionists. They significantly influence her style and expression.
Monika Bachmann has already participated in various group exhibitions in Wörlitz, Dessau, and Berlin. Recently, she had her first solo exhibition, which further advanced her artistic development.
Interested visitors are warmly invited to explore the art exhibition independently until 21.09.22.
