The Achtzig Galerie Berlin, then located at Hagenauer Str. 7 in Prenzlauer Berg, showcased the works of Farah Felicitas from August 22 to September 22, 2021, exclusively digitally. Under the title "Informal Painting – a Digital Presentation," the focus was on art that draws entirely from the moment: The images were meant to inspire on all levels and allow viewers to experience their own creative process. Art and life formed a unity in this context.

Art as a mirror of our being

The weeks and months leading up to the exhibition had shown what a valuable asset art is for our society: something precious and beautiful, whose beauty must be preserved. Our lives are transient. Art and culture, on the other hand, can endure for centuries, write history, and shape an entire society. They are the mirror of our being and make life more livable.

The path to self-discovery

Art is a gift that we may accept with gratitude and joy. Recognizing its value is a process that may take a lifetime. It is worth delving deeply into it, because in the end stands self-awareness.

Short bio: the painter Farah Felicitas

With her informal works, the young artist creates space for new worlds. However, her creative journey began in music: At a young age, she studied cello at the Hochschule für Musik "Hanns Eisler" in Berlin. Besides playing music, there was initially little time for anything else, but the longing for another form of expression grew stronger. This was followed by many years of self-study before painting became her profession.

In London, Farah Felicitas exhibited at the The Holy Art Gallery under the title "Phenomenon".
