Drawing and painting are essential in my life. Depending on how life circumstances allow, I devote more or less time to art. In everyday life and on travels, I look for motifs that I capture in my own way. Some impressions I develop from the idea to the finished picture. Others remain as photos or are lost. The impressions I draw or paint are intensely internalized. When I start a picture on site, the mood, the weather, and other elements are present for me. Music also inspires me to create pictures, from representational to abstract.
Acrylic paintings, watercolors, and etchings by Heidrun Kaiser
In watercolor, I often come closest to my ideas. However, I keep trying out other techniques to achieve my goal. I frequently use acrylic because of its intense and vibrant colors. Occasionally, I also engage with etchings or lithography.
This exhibition showcases the diversity of impressions that have inspired my paintings, explains the painter Heidrun Kaiser.
Already on 01.08.2020, an article about her previous solo exhibition appeared in the Degewo Hochhaus Galerie: Solo exhibition "Winterreise".

Drawing and painting accompany me throughout my life. As a retiree, I have more time for it. Landscape painting is often my focus, but other themes also inspire me. I find inspiration in nature, music, and literature. I attend courses at the VHS with Elena Olsen, Janina Egert, and Anke Rische as well as with the Monday Painters on Monday.
